Rodney C. Overlander, senior health care architect at MartinRiley architects-engineers has recently been awarded Board Certification by the American College of Healthcare Architects. Board Certification recognizes specialized skills and experience in designing healthcare projects through documented experience and an examination by the ACHA. The ACHA requires its members to work toward the improvement of healthcare architecture on behalf of the public, practice in an ethical manner and continue their education in this dynamic and continually changing field of expertise. Fewer than twenty board certified architects are in the State of Indiana, as listed on the ACHA website.

Rod has over 24 years of healthcare architectural experience including 15 years with Parkview Health Systems and Parkview Hospital where he was the Director of Facilities Engineering. In addition to his extensive and diverse health care design experience, Rod brings planning, design and document management skills to the MartinRiley healthcare design team. Rod also holds a MBA from Indiana University and a BA in architecture from Ball State University.
